Since I've cut my hair short I've actually started wearing earrings again...it's been years since I've worn them. Obviously this means I need to invest in some new pairs. At the top of my list are the quirky, cool ones by Erica Weiner.

I saw this collection firsthand when I was in New York for fashion week, but I'm still loving these lookbook shots. Pamela Love really knows how to make edgy, cool jewelry...I'm just waiting for a diffusion line more in my budget.

These detachable, silk collars by Cleo Ferin Mecury are so adorable. I even like the little "hibernate with me" slogan printed inside each one. There are three little critter options: a hedeghog, badger, and artic fox.

Silver And Gold

How fun are these "atomium" rings and necklaces by Ulala? The metallic gold and silver ones seem especially perfect for holiday parties--so festive and reminiscent of Christmas tree ornaments.

Trapped Illustrations

I'm beginning to wonder if Olivia Mew is capable of making something I won't like. Her illustrations are sweet, her scarves are amazing, and now she's creating jewelry. Her necklaces are reminiscent of pressed flower lockets that were popular in the Victorian era, but instead of small dried blooms Olivia's necklaces have locked away her illustrations for an eternity. I particularly like the humor in her rat king piece.

An Absolute Geometry That Only Stones Understood

I really enjoy jewelry with a lovely aesthetic that still marries naturalism with stream-lined and minimalist shapes. Garnett Jewelry has a nice balance of said qualities and is made from a mix of new materials and vintage finds. Plus, I just really like pyrite in almost any incarnation.

Lush Jewelry

My favorite ring for months has been a little cursive "love" ring by Lush Jewlery. Recently, I received a few new ones from Lush. I chose the turquoise nugget, dena finger tip ring, and nailah; I'm a big fan of all of them. I like the quirky styles you find in the shop and these ones feel great on my hands. One of the really nice things about Lush Jewelry is that their rings come in specific size and go as far down as size 4--it's so hard to find affordable rings sized so small, yet another reason I really like this brand.

Wolf and Moon

These necklaces by Wolf and Moon are graphically beautiful. They remind me of the kind of insignia you might find on a superhero's costume. The perfect dash of sparkle and color to pump up even the simplest outfit.

Hug A Porcupine

These brooches and necklace by Hug A Porcupine are as adorable as the name of the shop. They remind me of origami figures and the bright colors keep them so playful. They'd be a nice accent on a scarf or beret this winter.
