Little Aliens
Karen Walker always has the most creative lookbooks. She's styled her models as vampires and used mops instead of people last season. Her "little alien" collection is equally clever and fun. I do wish other brands would be as creative when showcasing their pieces.

Herschel Supply Co S/S 2012
I discovered and fell for Herschel Supply Co through their lookbook last season. Somehow they managed to top their previous images with this new spring collection. With each photograph they seem to promise that purchasing a Herschel backpack will lead to light-filled adventures through rambling wilderness...and I'm fairly convinced; their survey backpack is on my wishlist.

Gorman Spring 2012
Our weather is rather mercurial lately; warm sunny days are followed by bitterly cold wind, but all this does make me feel like spring is coming so I can't get enough spring lookbooks and collections for styling inspiration. One colletion full of color and patterns and basically spring perfection: Gorman S/S 2012. I really need to wear more socks...

Karla Spetic AW12
Cartoon prints are really having a moment. The latest designer to hop on the trend is Karla Spetic with her new A/W 2012 collection. Overblown Lichenstein-inspired prints are balanced by a light color palette and sheer organza. Who knew comic strips could be so soft?

Aubin & Wills
There are so many lookbooks lately that I just want to step into. This lifestyle shoot for Aubin & Wills featuring Irina Lazareanu and Alex James is no exception. Stores/brands are really stepping up their game lately and providing the perfect mood for their clothes; it's not enough to simply want to dress like Irina, now we aspire to have a similarly cat-filled apartment, scruffy boyfriend, and free time to shoot film down by the water.

Boy by Band of Outsiders

Maybe it's my own pixie cut, but I can't get enough Michelle Williams at the moment. Luckily, she is having a bit of a moment; her film Marilyn is doing exceptionally well and the spotlight is on. She was even picked up for the Boy by Band of Outsiders lookbook, an honor regularly passed from indie queen to indie queen. The set of Polaroids for the collection is a mix of dreamy, whimsical, and pure eye candy.
