While in New York Erin and I had the pleasure of dropping by
Alexandra Grecco's studio for a brief visit to get a preview of her spring collection. Inspired by early Brigitte Bardot the collection had a definite ballerina feel from structured off the shoulder tops to airy pleated pieces. She also collaborated with
Dan Estabrook on a handpainted hot air balloon dress. All of her pieces are already lovely and special, but the added touch of handpainting on that one made it my favorite from the new collection.
