Maybe it's my own pixie cut, but I can't get enough Michelle Williams at the moment. Luckily, she is having a bit of a moment; her film Marilyn is doing exceptionally well and the spotlight is on. She was even picked up for the Boy by Band of Outsiders lookbook, an honor regularly passed from indie queen to indie queen. The set of Polaroids for the collection is a mix of dreamy, whimsical, and pure eye candy.

Current Elliott Spring 2012

Current/Elliott's spring campaign is feeling very Virgin Suicides. Tousled-haired models sit, sprawl, slouch, and even yawn with boredom in their saddle shoes and printed pants. Despite their apparent disinterest in the idyllic house and pretty clothes--the looks are covetable. Perhaps they managed to capture those long summer days that blend into one another and seem to stretch on endless but we always remember with nostalgia and longing...oh, and so many of us are suckers for peter pan collars too.

When The Wind Works Against Us In The Dark

My good friend Jon visited me a few days before I flew off and we spent a good amount of time down by the water shooting a little video. It was bitterly cold with the wind whipping off the water and the sky spitting rain on us, but we survived and I'm excited to see the finished product.

The Secret Sits In the Middle And Knows

It's wild how much is going on right now. Fashion week is beginning in NYC and I'm away on a brief vacation before I fly to New York to catch the tail end on the madness (no reason to be secretive really, I've been instgramming a bit along my trip). Always it seems that nothing is going on and then everything happens at once and leaves me exhausted. Oh well, you can rest when you're dead, no? I still have a few more outfits I took back home in Virginia before flying away which I'll be posting in the next few days.
