On decidedly hot summer days when you awake to temperatures already in the 80s and
humidity through the roof, I like to wear clothes that don't really fit. (Loose layers keep you cooler than anything fitted.) I've had this skirt since my family lived in Hawaii and it's never really fit; I can slide it off without unfastening a single button. That should be impossible and seems in danger of a wardrobe malfunction, but for some reason it's one of those pieces I have an awful time letting go of. The blouse is equally loose, but that is part of it's appeal. The lightweight fabric ripples with every gentle breeze.
